GAUDILA

GAUDILA is a Galician fantasy for band written in 2007. This work has been compulsory in the third section of the VII Provincial Competition of Music Bands “Deputación de Pontevedra”

The work, through a leitmotiv, takes a musical journey through the different dances of Galicia such as the alborada, the danza, the balada or the muiñeira.

The work is dedicated to the people of Goián, hence the name. First name of the town, Gaudila, Gaudilanis
