Namaste is a small fantasia created for a young band. The whole play revolves around the same theme and it’s developed through different instrumentations and tonalities. The dialogue between the flute and the saxophon stands out in the central part of the play. Its simplicity makes this play suitable for the beginning of a concert as a warm up act.
Namaste is a gift, a greet, a welcome, a hello and a good bye, a thank you, a gesture of respect and admiration.
